Fittings in the atelier
Fittings are where made-to-measure earns its name. We pin with you standing in the shoes and underlayers you will actually wear. The room on Gwangbok-ro is small on purpose — fewer distractions, clearer posture notes.
- First fitting: balance, ease, and length on muslin or basted shell
- Second fitting: fashion fabric with seams still adjustable
- Final fitting: hem, closures, and movement check before release
- Extra pin sessions for coats and asymmetric evening cuts when needed
- Sessions usually 45–70 minutes; arrive hydrated and on time
- Reschedule with 24 hours notice when possible so another client can use the slot
What to bring
Wear or carry the bra, camisole, or shirt you expect under the finished piece. Bring the belt or bag if it changes how the waist sits. Leave heavy perfume at home — we work close to fabric edges.
Fitting fees are included in garment labour for commissions started here. Standalone fitting advice for outside garments is quoted from ₩65,000 per session when we accept the work.
