Our sewing process
Clarity keeps commissions calm. Below is the checklist we follow for almost every adult garment sewn at Umpire Keynote — adjusted only when cloth or calendar demands a different path.
- Consult: silhouette, budget in KRW, timing, and lifestyle notes
- Measure: posture and girth recorded; reference garments photographed only with consent
- Estimate: labour, cloth, lining, and deposit written before purchase
- Pattern: block drafted or graded; muslin built for new or complex shapes
- Fit: pins and chalk; corrections transferred before fashion cut
- Construct: seams, interfacing, and press stages sequenced for the fibre
- Finish: hem, closures, thread ends; hang overnight when wool needs rest
- Release: final try-on, care notes, and pickup or arranged courier after approval
Rush fees apply only when we can honestly protect quality. A coat promised in ten days is usually a coat we must refuse. We would rather keep your trust than your deadline.
